Shakuton, also known as the Scorch Release, is another Advanced Release generated through the combination of the Wind and Fire elements. Said to be a distant cousin of the highly destructive Bakuton (Blast Release), this element is far less "flashy," yet lethal all the same.
Rather than creating impressive explosions, the Scorch Release focuses around creating dehydrating spheres of heat which, upon contact, completely vaporize all of the water in a target's body and leave them in a mummified state. This deadly ability is only made more effective by the fact that the user can conjure multiple spheres at once, and control them up to the point of being fired at their target.

2. Shakuton requires mastery (50% of listed jutsu) of both the Katon (Fire) and Fuuton (Wind) release.
